giant paper fleurs.

we had a couple of fun days making giant flowers complete with stems and leaves for our two London Ghost stores on kings road and in westfield ( : i also went to the other side of the scale and made a really small flower from crepe paper for my mum’s birthday ( : a new love. i think they look really effective and brighten up the stores.

Artist Textiles: Picasso to Warhol

Any textile or art lovers this is a must! Even if you wouldn’t know that the prints throughout the exhibition are by key artists; the likes of Picasso, Warhol, Piper, Miro, Nicholson………. it is truly inspiring to see the beautiful prints for fashion and homeware. The exhibition is also well ___ in a way that is easy to understand and see the progression from Cubism and Surrealism to Pop Art. My favourite pieces were:

Andy Warhol – Buttons (4th from bottom)

Saul Steinberg – Paddington Station (3rd from bottom)

John Rombola – Parade (bottom)
