Any textile or art lovers this is a must! Even if you wouldn’t know that the prints throughout the exhibition are by key artists; the likes of Picasso, Warhol, Piper, Miro, Nicholson………. it is truly inspiring to see the beautiful prints for fashion and homeware. The exhibition is also well ___ in a way that is easy to understand and see the progression from Cubism and Surrealism to Pop Art. My favourite pieces were:
Andy Warhol – Buttons (4th from bottom)
Saul Steinberg – Paddington Station (3rd from bottom)
John Rombola – Parade (bottom)
always one of my favourites from the shows. the colours mixed with the geos and florals and layering with knits too <3 oh and the shoes! amazing shoes! aw14 really really beautiful .
My favourite trend from NY a/w 15 so far…
Creatures of Comfort, DUCKIE BROWN, Creatures of the Wind, Tadashi Shoji
