typewriter key jewellery.

..quite fitting with my post yesterday from copenhagen, today I found these lovely handmade jewellery items made from old typewriter keys in an artsy shop which was part of the design museum in malmo, sweden. the jewellery came in various forms but my favourite are the cuff links ( :

from dutch designer group t&nok who are theme bannenberg & nok snel. their collection for saatchi came together with an obessesion for office equipment.i love the unusualness of it all and the way in which the whole room is coated in computer keys not just a small part..must have taken them aaages!

new blood.

just off brick lane the old truman brewery held an event called new blood which featured graduates from graphic design, illustration, photography, etc. although i felt bad taking photos of peoples work so only a  few snaps of the atmosphere and surroundings. the cmyk paper: a little shop featuring origami folds made into cute things for a competition to be shown in the shop. in the shop there was also a table with the pop out origami pieces to put together your own cmyk origami on site! ..sadly i didnt take the graphic artists name down sorry) : and cant seem to find it anywhere online, but amazing stuffs!

the cutest illustrations of doggys ever! i really really want one of my lovely doggy blake ( : wonder what treats illustrator jo chambers would add to his everyday outfit of his beautiful orange, brown, white, and now grey coat. chambers creates her unique gifts with drawing, inking, painting, collaging and stitching.

quick trip to leeds met last night for their opening night of their degree shows. some intelligent, some beautiful, some strange, and some just scary! their doors are open til the 15th of june.
