blackpool: feels like 1970.

the sun was shining on our visit to the west coast at blackpool. id never been before & it was a lovely day ( : walking along the pier with the old cuddled up couples, colourful bunting, and 1970s classic cheesy tunes blaring through the speakers made it feel like we had gone back 40 years ( : there was even a 20 ft disco ball! happy holidaying ( :

can someone please find and buy me this beautiful coat? the colour, shape, and detailing seems like it was made for me! nearly time for it too.. summer seems to have officially gone ) : .. although i hope this is not true as im still to go on my holidays to the south of sweden and paris.

 

luckkey lounge.

from dutch designer group t&nok who are theme bannenberg & nok snel. their collection for saatchi came together with an obessesion for office equipment.i love the unusualness of it all and the way in which the whole room is coated in computer keys not just a small part..must have taken them aaages!

scandinavian sanna annukka is a self employed designer as well as a designer for marimekko. her strong colour combinations used with nature inspired imagery and puzzle like structure is lovely and very inspiring..

marie claire bridges

bridges uses nature as an inspiration much like myself, her designs are quite focussed with the use of floral motifs and geometrics. i also really love her colour choices and combinations.

peterborough summer festival.

every year peterborough central park hosts the summer festival to bring the community together. there were lots of little stands with shops, information, and freebies ( : as well as large music stages and tents with groups from different religions, and societies. another large aspect of the event is to inspire the artist inside you with artists on site as actors, comedians, painters, etc. nice that the weather held out too ( :

amazing!.. shoppers scan the qr codes on their way home and their order is then made up online and delivered to their door ( : !
